Leap: A Fork in the Road

Raising the Roof 3: Autumn 2022

A Fork in the Road was our third Raising the Roof cohort, run as part of Leap Confronting Conflict’s Under Our Roof programme. Care-experienced young people devised the work together, which was then shaped by the writer Lin Coghlan and directed by Jim Pope. The project produced a series of filmed talking heads, each spoken by a fictional character, including Quinn, Logan, Lily-Rose, Ellie, Jonathan, David and Janey. Ashley Mayer, who had taken part in the previous cohort, performed in it. The work was shared through a live event at Omnibus Theatre in Clapham, in an afternoon exploring the care system through A Fork in the Road and a film produced during October half term.
