Raising the Roof

Raising the Roof is PlayingON's programme for care-experienced young people. Over ten weeks, participants make theatre from the ground up, devising, writing, rehearsing and performing their own work, with professional theatre makers alongside them throughout. It isn't therapy, and it isn't charity. It's a creative process that takes young people seriously as artists and as people, and gives them a stage, literally, to tell their own stories on their own terms.
